This is really cool. I am very interested with mechanical devices. Do you think it's possible that there could be a way to download a PDF of the cutouts. I would really be interested in making some of the paper creations. I even think the piston is intriguing. Also do you think a gear system like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aobPgGzB-U could be created with paper. If it can, could you make PDF printouts and something like a video like the other ones you made.
And I realize I made this comment exactly one year after this post was made, but I believe this stff you are doing is amazing. :)

Hi, my name is Shane, and Im a university student very interested in the concept of using pepakura.
However I am having trouble bringing in my models into pepakura. When unfolded they become very complex with many small parts. Is there a way around this?
Is dfx the best format to export the solid models to pepakura?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
